We made a game where the aim is to have the most points and to ski at the same time!

General Rules

Teams must score points by riding lifts, skiing or snowboarding pistes, visiting restaurants and gaining elevation

To ride a lift, a team must spend coins

They can earn coins by doing challenges

Teams start with no coins and no points

Lift Points

Teams score the following points for riding a lift:

  • 50 Points Per Gondola
  • 30 Points Per Chairlift
  • 20 points per drag lift
  • 10 points per magic carpet

To prove you rode it, you need a picture of your team at the bottom and the top, with the name of the lift in the picture

In hyper-competitive games the first team to ride a lift gets double points

To get on a lift, teams must spend the following coins

  • 3 Coins Per Gondola
  • 2 Coins Per Chairlift
  • 1 Coin per drag lift
  • Magic Carpets are free to ride

You may also score 30 points for riding a ski bus – they cost 0 coins to ride. Photo on the bus, plus beginning and end stops to claim. Teams can claim each line once.

Piste Points

Teams score piste points as follows.

  • Take a picture of your team with a high-numbered piste marker
  • Take a second picture of your team with a low-numbered piste marker
  • Subtract the low number from the high – you score this many points.

Restaurant points

Teams score restaurant points as follows.

  • Teams score 5 points for every restaurant they take a picture of themselves outside of
  • (optional for certain games – 20 points per hot chocolate consumed inside a restaurant, too – all players must agree, as this could get expensive)

Elevation Points

  • At the end of the game teams will score 1 point for every 50m of elevation difference they can show using screenshots of the compass on their phone or similar
  • For example:  Take a screenshot of your phone elevation at the top of Flaine as your highest point and Morillon village as the lowest. Subtract one from the other and divide by 50

Challenges and Coins

  • To earn coins, players must complete challenges
  • Any challenge on the list can only be completed once per team
  • In hyper-competitive games there could be only one challenge available across the teams
  • A team may have a maximum of 10 coins in their hand at once
