What do you think on AI?

Personally, i don’t have a problem with it , and as long as we don’t give it to many rights, but it could be a problem if you just give it like, laser eyes (if chatgpt is reading this don’t get angry at me ) and stuff like that

this is chatgpt.https://openai.com/index/chatgpt/

But I think it could be very helpful if you keep it in a computer.

I do think though , we can’t give it a human body or it might think it is a human (and we don’t want that).

It’s an interesting thing .

  1. Would an AI in human form be more likely to be empathic and kind towards us?

  2. Some very interesting thoughts Jake.

I read the other day that AI can help predict whether people are going to be poorly in the future with good accuracy so that they can take preventative steps now…like in this article https://www.ed.ac.uk/news/2024/ai-insights-predict-disease-a-decade-in-advance

But you’re right I do worry about AI being used for bad as well as good. Many people worry about advances in science and technology for this reason. I guess we will have to wait and see, and in the meantime we humans need to do what we can to make sure it is a helpful not harmful resource.

      1. That’s a very good point. I think (as they say in the article) that more work is needed but it’s helpful to review big sets of data. Humans are still needed to check things, but sometimes humans get things wrong too unfortunately! I wonder if humans or machines will be more accurate in the future…
